My Story & Philosophy

I remember the day that my Grandpa was sharing his stories about his experiences in England during the second world war. Going through the black and white images of the places he had seen and hearing the stories that went with them. I remember when my mom would share memories from photos about family members or reunions from before I was born and how special those moments were to her. In our last home I curated a wall that had wedding photos from our parents and grandparents’ generation. Looking at those I knew I wanted to capture these stories through beautiful imagery. Not only would you get a beautiful photo but you would capture a lasting memory.

I was a teacher before I pursued full time photography and I adored my job. I loved seeing the kids make sense of everything they were learning and I also realized how quickly they changed. This is where my passion for capturing newborns and families came from. Freezing that time in life to look back on and remember their silly personalities, funny faces they made, their active bodies and so much more! I want to capture who they are in that moment.

People are such a huge part of our lives. Relationships grow, change and continue to evolve but capturing them will always allow us to have a glimpse into those moments. Let’s capture these moments together.

From meeting the love of your life, getting engaged, getting married, bringing a child into your family and growing as a family. Each moment shows you a bit more love that you never knew you had. I truly believe that you will never regret having moments and memories captured throughout your life.
